Helmets to Hives is open to all area veterans.

During the beekeeping season, typically May through late October, we meet every other week to do hive inspections and take care of any other necessary tasks. Most inspection sessions take about an hour from start to finish. There are several times throughout the season when the meeting may take longer (harvesting honey, performing mite treatments, etc.)
There is no cost to veterans enrolled in the program.
We are a volunteer-run organization and operate through donations. If you have expertise, equipment, or funds to donate to support our efforts, please reach out so we can chat more.
